BioA graduate of the science fiction and fantasy workshop Viable Paradise, as well as the Breakout Novel Intensive Workshop, I'm a pastoral minister who writes fantasy fiction. Currently I'm revising a completed four-part novel called Coin of Rulve. The tale is that of a spiritual quest, and contains elements of romance, bits of horror, and what Tolkien might call "eucatastrophe"--a tragic event that is nonetheless redemptive. Coin tells of twin brothers who are born with the power to overcome the evil that has enslaved their homeland, but who face the necessity of being utterly and willingly spent in the process. I also have several short stories making the rounds, and two teeny--but wonderful to me!--acceptances. My husband and four kids put up with me.
